Energy Search Collective were asked to assist in the recruitment of a Head of Portfolio Management for a leading European renewable energy company. The position was to manage a team focused on the structuring, hedging, trading and portfolio management of a large, long-term renewable power portfolio across Southern Europe.
After a detailed selection process and extensive headhunting, ESC supplied six candidates who were interviewed at first stage, of which three were taken to final interview, and one hired for the position. During this process for the Head of the team, Energy Search Collective were then asked to assist in finding a Portfolio Manager working inside the team who were responsible for the same large renewable power portfolio across DACH markets, and the client hired an experienced trading professional from a competitor into the position
